Hi there friends! It’s time again for another Menu Plan Monday. Menu Plan Monday #254 to be exact. If you haven’t joined the meal planning bandwagon now is the time. 🙂

I have been meal planning for 8 years and I still love it. It makes life so much easier, for me anyway, to get my grocery shopping done one day a week with a list of ingredients for good meals I’m going to make for my family. It’s one less stressful thing to worry about at the end of the day because dinner is already planned.

There were so many nights I would get home from work and not have a clue as to what we were going to eat for dinner. That’s when fast food is such an easy option. You end up spending way more money doing that than making fresh meals at home. Yes, there are some nights I don’t feel like making the dish I had planned for that night, so Ill just whip up another recipe I had on the menu! (And of course, there are nights we just eat out and that is OK, too!)

My favorite bonus of all with weekly meal planning is that my family loves it too. I think one of the best things you can do for your kids and spouse is have a home cooked meal on the table and enjoying it all together as a family. 🙂
