Happy Memorial Day, friends! This holiday is close to my heart as I have several family members who have served our country. What better way to show our appreciation for their service than with quality food and family time! This week we have a variety of recipes to satisfy every palate.
Craving your favorite Italian Sub, but wanting to cut calories? My Italian Sub Salad is the perfect solution. Packed with sliced turkey, salami, provolone cheese and homemade Italian Vinaigrette dressing, this salad is the perfect way to curb those cravings without missing out on classic Italian flavors.
Continuing with the National BBQ Month theme for May, I’m spotlighting my Teriyaki Chicken Kebabs. These are delicious and a fun way to sneak in vegetables and protein for even the pickiest of eaters. Our family loves to add fresh pineapple, sliced bell peppers, and of course the more barbeque sauce, the better! This dinner is so easy to prepare and incredibly fun to make. A summer dinner staple at the Lofthouse.
Oreo lovers, this one’s for you! My Oreo Ice Cream Cake is the perfect dessert to serve at summer birthdays, graduation parties, family outings, you name it! Did I mention it only requires 3 ingredients? All you need is cookies ‘n cream ice cream, gooey hot fudge, and a package of Oreos. I find myself coming back to this recipe and I know you will too!
