Menu Plan Monday #143

Hey my friends. How was everyone’s weekend? Ours was really good. I went to a baby shower for my friend on Saturday and it was a lot of fun. Yesterday we held a surprise party for Kelsey’s 13th birthday! We kept it pretty low key with just family and our close friends the Lenharts. I got Kale to take Kelsey out for a birthday lunch while I set up and everyone came over to surprise her. The look on her face when she came through the door was priceless!! We got her good. 🙂

This week’s menu is actually not the real menu I’m cooking this week. It’s more like my ‘wish list’ of what I really want to have but can’t. lol We head to Maui in just a few weeks so we’re really trying to buckle down hard on our diets. Exercise is out for me for the week though. Yesterday at Kelsey’s party I was holding up Kallen on our staircase so he could reach his balloon and we both went tumbling down the stairs. I think I broke my big toe. It’s swollen, stiff and has a dark blue bruise behind it. Ugh. Not fun.
