Here in Southern Utah, the temperatures can be in the triple digits during the summer, so when it falls below 60, we start to spend most of our time indoors. We’re not built for the cold weather! Nothing says cool-weather food like a warm bowl of homemade soup with a sandwich to accompany it. My Tomato Basil Soup and Grilled Mozzarella Sandwiches are built for days like these. It’s one of those classic food pairings that will never go out of style!

Next, give my Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup a try. Serve this with a roll to sop up every bite. Both recipes stick to your ribs. You may end up just like a grizzly bear in the mountains and not come back out to see the sun for the rest of winter.
