The Fourth of July is almost here and I have a lineup of festive recipes you won’t want to miss! This week’s Menu Plan Monday has something for every star-spangled cookout or family gathering. All of these dishes are sure to bring the flavor! Fireworks not included, but highly encouraged. 😉 Here’s to good times, great food, and celebrating our freedom with the people who matter most. Happy Independence Day from Life In The Lofthouse!
My Chicken Chimichangas are one of my go-tos for family events and parties. They are crispy, delicious, and filling. Add a dollop of sour cream, some guacamole, and you’re all set! They truly never get old and the leftovers are just as delicious. Plus, they’re super easy to customize. Switch up the fillings with beans, veggies, or different cheeses to suit your crowd. This recipe is always a hit and disappears fast!
I’m drooling just thinking about this one! My Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad is a creamy and flavorful dish that combines tender pasta with crispy bacon, fresh cherry tomatoes, and an easy homemade ranch dressing. The smoky bacon and tangy ranch create a savory balance, making it a popular choice for a 4th of July celebration!
You can also celebrate the Fourth of July with an American classic: Homemade Strawberry Shortcake. A dessert the whole family will enjoy with little clean up and prep required. The limit doesn’t exist when it comes to how much whip cream you can use, our family loves to go all out!
