Shrimp Alfredo

Ever since I made my Tortellini Alfredo recipe, my kids have asked me non-stop to make it again for them. I don’t blame them, it really is delicious, but I have to remind them that we can’t eat it every day. lol Too much of a good thing is just too much. Does that make sense? lol I made them wait a while before I whipped up another batch, but this time I added some yummy golden shrimp. My little Kallen was in heaven. He is my seafood lover to the core.

SHRIMP TORTELLINI ALFREDO

This Shrimp Tortellini Alfredo turned out to be even better than I expected. The rich and creamy Alfredo coats the tortellini and shrimp so perfectly, ensuring every bite is delicious and satisfying. My kids were pretty quiet as they gobbled this pasta up. I always know if I have a quiet dinner table that means they’re eating their dinner and loving it!

TORTELLINI OPTIONS

I personally prefer to use fresh, refrigerated tortellini. I feel it has the best flavor and it cooks the fastest. You can also use frozen tortellini as well, but just keep in mind it will take a little longer to cook. It will still taste delicious though.

SHRIMP OPTIONS

We like to stock bags of already cooked frozen shrimp in our freezer for quick recipes just like this! Although, I believe fresh shrimp is the best, frozen cooked shrimp is always a great alternative. I just run it under cold water to thaw before adding it into the pasta. It’s easy and really yummy!

I know this is a big cheat, but Publix has jarred Alfredo Sauce called “Little Italy in the Bronx; basil Alfredo with lemon zest” and it is soooo dreamy! I used this rather than making my own Alfredo. It was absolutely delish-e-o-so!

DELICIOUS! Added shrimp and chicken (fried the chicken a little bit before adding it to the sauce). Served it with garlic bread. It was just amazing, thank you for this recipe!

I wanted to make this so bad and only having half of the ingredients had to make do! I had no chives so chopped the ends off a couple of green onions, which I have done in the past. Shrimp a little too big so chopped a little off of them, and also added a small can of mushrooms to the en and my son is anxiously waiting for the call to supper!, I am going to cook a small butternut squash for our veggie and have at it. I can tell it’s gonna be great just by the ingredients! Thanks for the recipe. Sharon

Delish! I make my own cream sauce with a butter/flour rue, then add cream & S & P to taste. Tip: anytime u make a cream sauce for anything, add a pinch of ground nutmeg! Gives it that xtra “somethin-somethin” u cant quite put your finger on but man it makes a diff! Paula deen taught me that little secret! Easy, delish recipe for sure!

Absolutely delicious and easy to make recipe. I will no longer need to get this type of recipe/food at a restaurant. I will just make it myself! I usually want lots of sauce. The amount of sauce was perfect. Thank you for sharing recipe!
